 Steamboat Mountain W.S.C. was  incorporated in 1979 and has been steadily growing over the years. Now we currently serve over 2600 customers!
 

By law, the Corporation is governed by a 9 member, all volunteer, Board of Directors. The directors are uncompensated and are elected by the members for a three-year term. The board consists of directors having a diversity of expertise and  professional accomplishment throughout the community.  All directors are  also members of the Corporation just like every other Steamboat Mountain W.S.C. customer. The directors meet at the corporate office for  a monthly board meeting, as posted and noticed, pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act. An annual meeting of the members is usually held each April.
